The Challenge
Jumeirah Vittaveli is one of the Maldives' most prestigious luxury resorts, demanding nothing short of excellence in every operational aspect. When EON Resorts needed a partner to supply and install a complete laundry facility, the equipment had to meet the exacting standards expected by the Jumeirah brand — reliability, capacity and efficiency were non-negotiable.
Operating in the Maldives brings unique logistical challenges. Every piece of equipment must be transported by sea to a remote island location, and installation teams must work within tight commissioning windows to minimise disruption to resort operations.
Our Solution
GTS delivered a complete turnkey laundry solution, encompassing:
- Full supply of industrial washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment from FAGOR (Spain)
- Complementary cleaning and finishing accessories from GHIDINI (Italy)
- Professional installation by GTS's in-house technical team
- Full commissioning and performance testing
- On-site training for the resort's laundry staff
The Result
The laundry facility was delivered on time and to specification. The combination of FAGOR's proven industrial laundry systems and GHIDINI's precision cleaning equipment gave Jumeirah Vittaveli a laundry operation capable of handling the demands of a five-star resort.
